As part of the ongoing review of the Appointments structure I have created a new position within the Association to handle refereeing appointments the Association are responsible for in Club Academy, Girls, Womens, Angus Schools and Re-allocation.
This new streamlined structure will ensure the pool of referees available are being contacted by one source who will be able to manage the whole appointment structure more effectively.
I can confirm that Kelly Kyle will take on this role and she will be assisted by Willie Ferguson. Please give them your support as we push through this change.
Obviously this has resulted in a change in Club Academy and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Graeme Bowman for all the hard work he has put into this over the many years. The Association owes Graeme a huge debt of gratitude.
I do believe these changes will make the appointments structure much more fluid and effective by encompassing all into one place.
