Further to my comments at the last meeting please see the message from the SFA and the attached guidance notes which are also available on the extranet.
This clarifies the recording process with the main points being.
1. U11s and u12s you should not get asked to record a score or substitutes..
2. U13s to u16s record a half time and full time score but you should now not get asked for scorers or substitutes. The team sheet will now just be a list of participating players. For games above u13s of 3 x 30 mins just record the half time score as after the first period.
3. The participating players list should have all the players listed apart from any trialists. If you encounter an empty list contact the SFA via e-mail at appointments@scottishfa.co.uk this has been a glitch in the system
4. For other games u17s etc all information is required.
As always it is good practice to keep a full book anyway then you have all information should you need it.
Any questions or problems please contact Graeme Bowman or William Ferguson
A Notice has just been posted on the Extranet with the following information:
“The Club Academy Scotland Guidance Notes in the Library have been updated.
They have been updated to take account of naming changes to the various age categories in the Programme and to also to better set out information relating to the processing of match reports on the Extranet for the U11s through to U16s Age Groups.
That information is:
All other Age Groups
Match results are not recorded for U11s and U12s Age Groups. The score fields for such matches are not available.
Match results (half time and full time) are recorded for U13s to U16s Age Groups.
Lists of Participating Players replaces “Team Lines”. The system allows for the recording of all players selected for the match. Substitutions and goalscorers are not recorded.
Furthermore, referees have been experiencing issues in not being able to select players from the drop down list when recording the teams. The players’ names have not been appearing on the drop down list despite being registered for the club. Work has been carried out to rectify this issue. Should referees continue to experience any issues in this respect (allowing for the fact that unregistered trialists can play in the matches), should email the Referee Operations Department via the appointments@scottishfa.co.uk address. “
